Colegio Internacional de Carabobo is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACSCASI), an accreditation division of Cognia (formerly AdvancED.) CIC transcripts are recognized by schools, colleges, and universities throughout the world. CIC has been recognized and accredited as a school of quality since 1959.

 

In March 2022, CIC hosted a successful Cognia Accreditation Engagement Review which validated CIC’s effectiveness in the Learning, Leadership, and Resources domains.  The review also validated the school’s goal of meeting or exceeding Cognia’s set of School Quality Standards as well as our commitment to continuous improvement.  CIC earned Accredited status for the five-year period 2022/23 - 2027/28 as a result of the review.

IMPROVEMENT PRIORITIES 2017-2019 IP1: Continue with efforts to expand and to monitor the impact of current learning support services protocols so as to address the unique learning characteristics of all learners in order to meet their social and emotional needs. IP2: Ensure a uniform capacity in all instructional professional and support staff in the evaluation, interpretation, and use of data in the validation of student learning through a clearly delineated professional development plan. IP3: Further expand training opportunities for instructional and support staff to monitor, interpret, and adjust curriculum, instruction, and assessment to increase student achievement in response to data. IP4: Refine the school’s instructional process by continuing to provide training and practice for teachers in the usage of rigorous instructional strategies and in the providing of quality exemplars to guide and differentiate the process through all content areas.
